MANAGEMENT: Dr. John Loveland; Management 338 Leadership & Society
The reason we chose Management 338 is because it teaches the skills necessary to be a leader in todays society. This class is also a Viewing a Wider World class: students who are not in the business field can gain valuable lessons in leadership.
The class makes you aware of leadership behavior, patterns and strategies that promote effectiveness in society. It also provides a student with knowledge that will be of lasting value throughout their career in the workplace. We chose Dr. Loveland because he has played important roles in the College of Business.
Dr. Loveland holds the John P. Loveland Professorship in Quality Management, a professorship established in 2007 to honor his 36 years of distinguished service to NMSU and his commitment to quality management education. The video shows how the class provides students with the skills of leadership that will further their success.
This video was created just for you by students in the Fall 2009 College of Business Marketing 489 class: Matthew Galfano, Jeremy Ernest, Louis Fitzgerald, Ashley Salazar and Adrian Zamarripa.
