Aside from Holt’s appointment, the company also announced that an expert in the field has joined their ranks. Terry Neal, the new addition to the company, will hold the position of General Manager of AccuSolutions. AccuSolutions is a strategy formulated by Accuride to enhance their portfolio of solutions to further serve their long list of customers.
The strategy includes three services. The first of the three is the New Business Technology. Under this service, the company is aiming to “provide new technologies to the industry that leverage our competencies”, according to the company.
The second service included in the strategy is Sourcing Solutions. Under this, the company will focus on the design, engineering, and sourcing of products and components.
The third service is what Neal will first set his sight on. Development of Solution Centers is the third service under the new strategy. Under this, the company will “establish Accuride facilities near major OEM plants with the ability to receive sourcing solution products and components, perform light assembly, kitting, sequencing, and just-in-time delivery.”
Neal, just like Holt has been in the industry for over 25 years. He previously had focused on global aftermarket distribution, manufacturing and remanufacturing operations. Before he joined Accuride, Neal was the Division Manager for Operations Customer Support for Bendix LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources degree from Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College.
Accuride President Murphy also said that: “The appointments announced today (March 9), along with the associated initiatives, are a demonstration of our strengthened focus on exploring new avenues through which we can create solutions for our customers and add value for our stakeholders.”
